Karate is a Japanese martial art that focuses on developing defensive and counterattacking body movements. It's an unarmed discipline that uses kicking, striking, and defensive blocking with arms and legs. The emphasis is on concentrating as much of the body's power as possible at the point of impact. The core basics of karate are taught during the first three to four months. Regular training in karate can help a student learn the basics in one year. Good form and timing with basic techniques are demonstrated by the student within six months to one-and-a-half years of training.
Gymnastic classes would be conducted along with the karate classes, twice a month as an add-on.Please note that gymnastics classes will be conducted with all safety measures.
The Little Karate Program is for 4 to 6 year old students to learn the physical benefits of martial arts. The program teaches life skills that are essential to a child’s growth and development. These skills include focus, concentration, discipline, respect, and confidence. Many students experience improvement in coordination, flexibility, balance, strength, and body control. Besides success in the martial arts, we believe these benefits help provide a child with the skills necessary for future academic, athletic, and social success. The Little Dragons program prepares our younger students for the Children’s Program, which ultimately leads to Black Belt! Our Instructors and Staff are dedicated to teaching exciting, fast-moving, productive classes - day after day. This program will have 2 Bi-weekly classes each in a month to train in Nunchaku and Gymnastics. Also, seminars on Kata and fighting techniques will be organized to our students, by experienced and skilled guest instructors from across academies.

The nunchaku is most widely used in martial arts as a training weapon, since it allows the development of quicker mind / body coordination and teaches 3 dimensional movements and patterns.
